What to do, where to go?
Prioticket started by answering the most common question tourists asked at the hotel front desk: “What to do, where to go?”. We were persistent to find a way to assist hotel staff answer this question and helping travelers make their stay more meaningful.
In 2015, in Amsterdam, we launched our first two products, the hotel point of sale and the hotel pass. Priopass allowed travelers to enter public transportation and visit popular museums and attractions in Amsterdam without waiting in line. The use of the pass was charged post-redemption to the hotel bill. As a result of last-minute bookings from hotels conflicting with the limited capacity of venues, we developed the technology to link the venue’s booking systems. The link between sales and distribution channels and reservation systems unfolded to become our core business.
