About de Kuip
De Kuip, as Stadion Feijenoord is commonly known, was opened in 1937 as the football stadium for Feyenoord's home games. More than eighty years later, this remains the primary function of this football temple, but the stadium is much more than that.
De Kuip is a stadium where many memorable European Cup finals and international matches have been played, it is the regular venue for the KNVB Cup final, and a location where many concerts have taken place and continue to take place. Additionally, De Kuip boasts one of the largest conference and event centers in the Rotterdam region, where a wide variety of rooms host many successful business and/or private events weekly.
But above all, De Kuip is a stadium with a fantastic atmosphere that is renowned worldwide. What exactly makes it special? That's hard to put into words. To truly understand it, you have to experience De Kuip yourself. Whether during a match, a tour, a party, or another event.
During football matches, the stadium has a capacity of 47,500 spectators. For large-scale events, such as concerts, the stadium can accommodate 50,000 people.
